Perform abdominal, gynecological, obstetrical, testicular, thyroid, and limited vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with department protocols and standards under the supervision of registered sonographers and physicians

Report malfunctioning equipment to the lead sonographer or supervisor

Ensure patients are properly prepped for exams and procedures including utilizing sterile technique

Work closely with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure safe and accurate handling of all medication and equipment

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized area

Efficiently supply, operate, and monitor pharmaceutical equipment and technology in order to complete and fill medication orders

Ensure drugs are properly stored, rotated, and disposed of in accordance to regulatory guidelines

Demonstrate proper aseptic technique in preparing intravenous admixtures
